HERRERA TO PERFORM FROM ANTICIPATED SET LIST
INCLUDING BOTH MXPX AND TUMBLEDOWN HITS,
Los Angeles, CA May 21, 2010 – World-traveling Bremerton, WA musician Mike Herrera is a familiar name to those involved in the pop-punk music scene. As songsmith for both his rockabilly band Tumbledown and the Left Coast three-piece punk band, MxPx, for over 17 years, Herrera has left an indelible impression on his fans and critics alike. Now, he is taking his own, very personal solo act south of the border and returning to his South American fans after a four-year hiatus.

Having last soaked up the sun in Lima, Buenos Aires, and Sao Paulo with MxPx, Herrera is excited to return and perform his musical best for the rest of South America, in countries like Costa Rica, Columbia, and Argentina. “This trip is long overdue,” said Herrera, “and I can’t wait to share some new material with my South American friends and fans.”

Beneath all the tattoos and piercings, the ranting and stage wrecking, Herrera is an accomplished and acclaimed songwriter, and along with his tour-mate Jose Garzon of FeelsLikeFriday, he promises that this South American tour will offer nothing but his best.
