Welcome to Best Life. I'm Mike Herrera
This is all about having the Best Life that I can.. even when I'm having
the worst day. Like in this video where I face plant within 5 minutes of my bike ride. It's been a while since I've bailed so hard on anything. I was interrupted with a classic epic bike fail.
These are the stories, places and characters that contribute to my personal life experience, big and small.
Best Life. Culture, Travel, Food, Music & Discovery. No Rules.
FREE SHOW! It's Troubadour Tuesday on May 15 with Mike Herrera and friends, Jack Parker, Mike Moen, and Andrew Anderson. Mike will be playing off and on all night with and without his friends. These guys will also be playing throughout the night. Just a nice night of music from some local talented songwriters.
If people like the show, Mike will do more Troubadour Tuesdays in the future.

TUMBLEDOWN takes that sepia-tinged image of Americana and sends it hurtling into the present, with the help of some punk-inflected riffs and pure rock & roll attitude. Their inspiring and combustible blend of country roots with a punk edge offers an image of Americana that's as true, tragic, tumultuous, and tantalizing. Led by MxPx frontman Mike Herrera, Tumbledown has been touring the world non-stop since blowing the roof off the dump at our New Year's Eve just over a year ago. $10
New Year, New GEAR!! For a limited time, buy one of our SALE t-shirts and receive a FREE sticker/button pack with your purchase. Legendary Bremerton, WA punk trio, MxPx will release a music documentary entitled Both Ends Burning, featuring footage from the band's 2008 world tour all the way to the band's sold-out Seattle show in March 2011. In this brutally honest depiction of the band, MxPx finds themselves at a crossroads in their career, struggling to find the balance between full time jobs, and the life of a touring musician. Directed by Bryan Buchelt of Snaproll Studios, the DVD will be available digitally on December 1 through most online retail outlets and the band's website (www.mxpx.com).
Due to weather in Costa Rica our flight was cancelled. We cannot get to SJ in time to play tonight. The show is postponed for tonight until a later date (trying to make this happen on a day off if we can get flights back). We are very sorry to miss this show. We tried so hard to make a sooner flight. We are still playing Panama tomorrow and the rest of the tour as scheduled. We will post new info soon when we know. It was an act of rain and weather. Most of the flights to Costa Rica were cancelled last night, not just ours. This is bad news but we thank you for your understanding.
MxPx is sorry to hear that the Livestock Festival at St. Edward State Park in Kenmore has been cancelled.
No worries, you'll be able to see us perform. Keep checking in to see updates from the studio!
